The Evening of Excellence is held each spring to honor the top five percent of academic graduates at Central High School and Stevens High School, additional outstanding graduates and the educators who have inspired them. The nominees and winner of our Teacher of the Year program will also be honored and the event serves as our primary fundraiser for the Rapid City Public School Foundation’s Grant Program.
This year’s Evening of Excellence will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, in LaCroix Hall at The Monument. A dessert reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program and awards presentation at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend this event and celebrate our honored teachers and students at no cost thanks to our generous sponsors, State Farm Agents: Matt McCormick and Scott Carlson and Monument Health. This year, we will have an interactive photo booth courtesy of The HomeSlice Media Group.
