The Evening of Excellence is held each spring to honor the top five percent of academic graduates at Central High School and Stevens High School, additional outstanding graduates and the educators who have inspired them. The event serves as our primary fundraiser for the Rapid City Public School Foundation’s Grant Program.
This year’s Evening of Excellence will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in LaCroix Hall at The Monument. This year, we will have an opportunity to set up a senior table starting at 4pm. We will have a dessert reception and a time to look at the senior tables beginning at 5:00 pm, followed by a short program and the awards presentation at 6:30pm. All are welcome to attend this event and celebrate our honored teachers and students at no cost thanks to our generous sponsors, State Farm Agents: Matt McCormick and Scott Carlson and Black Hills Energy. This year, we will have an interactive photo booth courtesy of The HomeSlice Media Group.
