Congratulations to the 2025-2026 Rapid City Area Schools Teacher of the Year, Ross Hunter!

The Rapid City Public School Foundation (RCPSF) is heading into our 31 years of supporting the Rapid City Public Schools and with your generous support, the RCPSF can provide grant support for RCAS staff and students to develop new programs through educational partnerships and innovative solutions. So far, in the 2024-2025 school year, the Foundation has awarded over $12,000 in grants.

Excellence in Education

Thank you to our amazing donors Black Hills Energy, Highmark Credit Union and Matt McCormick – State Farm Agent of the first ever Excellence in Education celebrating our Teachers of the Year, Support Persons of the Year and Years of Service.

Even though the event didn’t go as intended, due to the weather, we still had an amazing time celebrating the Rapid City Area Schools staff. Here is the program from that event.
